Pork Wonton Soup Recipe

- 3 baby bok choy, cut in half lengthwise
- 1-2 tablespoon avocado oil
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 tsp Chinese 5 spice
- 1 med red onion, diced
- 8 oz mushrooms, diced I used an ummani mix, but use whatever mushrooms you love
- 4-5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch knob of ginger, grated
- 3 tablespoon tamari or soy sauce
- 1½ tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 20 pork wontons, frozen or fresh
- chili crisp garnish

- green onion tops, sliced garnish
On medium-high heat, sear the bok choy halves in avocado oil until a med-dark brown color develops. Remove bok choy and set aside.
Brown ground pork with Chinese 5 spice seasoning. Drain any excess oil after pork is cooked through.
Add onions and mushrooms, cooking until slightly softened.
Add garlic, ginger, tamari, toasted sesame oil, fish sauce, and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer. Add the seared bok choy back in.
Add frozen wontons and cook for approximately 5-6 minutes or until they float.
Garnish with green onion tops, toasted sesame seeds, and chili crisp.
