Pork Wonton Soup Recipe

  • On medium-high heat, sear the bok choy halves in avocado oil until a med-dark brown color develops. Remove bok choy and set aside.
  • Brown ground pork with Chinese 5 spice seasoning. Drain any excess oil after pork is cooked through.
  • Add onions and mushrooms, cooking until slightly softened.
  • Add garlic, ginger, tamari, toasted sesame oil, fish sauce, and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer. Add the seared bok choy back in.
  • Add frozen wontons and cook for approximately 5-6 minutes or until they float.
  • Garnish with green onion tops, toasted sesame seeds, and chili crisp.
  • Enjoy!
