‘Tis the time of year that we are right in the middle of all things back to school and fall is fast approaching. We are all getting used to being back in a routine, the after school activities, and just being busy. I will admit, it is kinda nice to have an actual routine again instead of floating around like a wild turkey. But, I digress. I’ve got another round of recipe inspirations plus my latest loves and the thing’s I’ve got my eye on to try. This is the Fall Preview and it’s gonna be fun.
Hope you guys enjoy. Let’s get started!

Let’s start our latest recipe roundup with a super simple and super delicious main dish. This Sheet Pan Pork Tenderloin is incredible. It’s so easy to do, takes very little time in the oven, and has a out-of-this-world chimichurri that is fantastic for drizzling. This is the perfect back-to-school, back-in-the-swing recipe that everyone will love.
Next up, and a great recipe using the leftover pork tenderloin from above, is a Pork Tenderloin Sandwich. Juicy pieces of sliced pork tenderloin, avocado, and bacon are nestled in between two pieces of ciabatta and smeared with copious amounts of a lemon chive sandwich spread. It’s incredible. Really. Everyone will love this.
To round out main dish ideas, you’ve gotta try my Cheeseburger Bowls With Bacon. If you’re in the mood for the flavors of a classic cheeseburger, but maybe want a little lighter version, these bowls are the answer. In less than 30 minutes, and with the burger sauce of your dreams, you’ve got an easy meal for quick dinners, lunches at the office, or even an after school snack for a hungry kiddo.
more great recipes
For a side dish/salad/possible easy lunch for the office, you’ve got to try my Brussels Sprouts Salad With Bacon and A Caesar Dressing. I’m obsessed with this recipe. The crunch, the dressing, and of course, bacon. Again, it’s super simple to make and it’s perfect for the office and the lunchroom at school. I add a little rotisserie chicken for an extra protein bump. It’s soooo good!
And, since school is back in session and the germs are being spread, there is nothing better to combat them than a chicken noodle soup. My Asian Chicken Noodle is a fun twist on the classic soul-warming, germ-fighting, hug-in-a-bowl. The flavors are incredible and it takes almost no time to throw together. You’ve gotta try it.
Next up in our Fall Preview Recipe Roundup, is a snack recipe. Snacks are required and are a very serious subject around here. My Dill Pickle Popcorn combines two of our favorites. It’s crunchy, salty, and packs a big pickle punch. Try it once and you’ll keep it on hand at all times.
Lastly, let’s talk about something sweet. My Chocolate Chocolate Chip Bread is a family favorite around here. It’s simple to make, beyond delicious, and can be a lovely sweet treat at the end of a meal or a phenomenal breakfast alongside a piping hot cup of coffee. It’s rare that I don’t have this made at all times. This rich chocolate treat is that good.
things I love – fall preview
kitchen
Let’s start this Things I Love Fall Preview out with something that’s close to my heart – food. Because, obvs.
I am a long time fan of chili crisp. I put it on everything – breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, most of them have oils that I’m not a big fan of. Everiday has changed that. They use extra virgin olive oil in their products and I could not be happier to see this. Their chili crisp is by far my favorite and I cannot wait to try the Everiday Sambal Umami Dipping Sauce.
I am currently in the process of replacing all of my bakeware and moving to USA Pans. Their product quality is superior to anything I’ve come across. Heavy duty, nonstick, and very affordable. And, as the name implies, they’re made in the US. Pennsylvania to be exact. I like this very much. I’ve even told Santa that I would love a few more in my stocking.
home
We can’t do a Fall Preview without a candle. That would be unacceptable. Fall is so close that I can literally smell it. I’m manifesting cooler temps with all of the fall candles and this Life In Lilac Better Than Pie Candle is an old favorite. It smells like you’ve been baking all day, in a chunky cable knit sweater, in your Uggs. Seriously.
wellness
And, because fall and the holidays are upon us, I cannot recommend this Treadmill Laptop Desk enough. I can type, type, type while I walk, walk, walk. It easily sets on top of my treadmill handrails and I can go to work while I get those steps in. Considering some of the comfort food recipes I have coming, it’s probably a good thing!
beauty
I cannot tell you how many times I’ve reordered this Glycolic Acid Face Wash. It’s gentle enough to use everyday, but strong enough to exfoliate my skin. The glow from this stuff is real. I don’t know about you, but when the weather cools off the skin on my face starts looking more lizard-like. This face wash keeps that from happening.
Next on my Fall Preview list and a product that I have reordered countless times is the Glow Recipe Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Cream. This eye cream checks all the boxes for me. It’s thick and creamy and super hydrating, but it also contains retinol which helps to kick those pesky fine lines to the curb. As a woman of a certain age, I need all the help I can get!
to wear
I am a long time fan of Gigi Pip Hats. They. Are. Amazing. The style, the quality are superb. Anytime I’m in the market, and I’m always in the market for a good hat, I start here.
Because the holidays are fast approaching, it is time to start thinking about gifts. I know, I know. It seems ludicrous that it’s that time again. However, The Apolis Bag is a gift that would work for almost anyone. I’ve given them to my best friends, to family, and have plans to grab a few for teacher gifts this year. They’re amazing, customizable, and the quality is fantastic. I cannot recommend these enough.
To finish out our Fall Preview, let’s talk socks. Bombas Socks are another thing you should try if you haven’t. This company is one that I love to purchase from because for every sock purchased, they donate a pair to someone in need. Socks are an essential clothing item and are one of the most requested items at homeless shelters. Not only does this company make the world a better place, but the socks are awesssommmmmeeeeee. They last forever and have a ton of fun prints to choose from. Get some. You won’t regret it.
