Pull Up A Chair & Let's Chat!

Chicken Caesar salad wraps are the kind of easy meal that always works — quick enough for lunch, satisfying enough for dinner, and built around rotisserie chicken, crisp romaine, and a bold homemade Caesar dressing that makes the whole thing feel worth repeating.

Why It Works

  • Rotisserie chicken keeps it fast: Big flavor, almost no prep.
  • The dressing makes it: Bright, garlicky, and deeply Caesar without extra fuss.
  • Crispy + creamy contrast: Romaine, bacon, parmesan, and croutons all matter here.
  • Easy to prep ahead: Keep components separate and assemble when ready.

What You'll Need & Why

Here’s everything you need to make these crisp, creamy, ridiculously easy Chicken Caesar Salad Wraps.

For the Caesar Dressing

  • Mayonnaise — the creamy base of the dressing.
  • Lemon Juice — bright, fresh, and essential.
  • Worcestershire Sauce — adds depth and umami richness.
  • Dijon Mustard — tangy backbone that ties everything together.
  • Anchovy Paste — the salty, savory magic that makes Caesar Caesar.
  • Garlic (grated) — fresh, punchy, and bold.
  • Kosher Salt & Black Pepper — season to taste.

For the Wraps

  • Flour Tortillas — burrito-sized wraps are easiest to roll, but use your favorite kind.
  • Cooked Chicken — rotisserie chicken makes this fast, juicy, and flavorful.
  • Crispy Bacon — smoky crunch that makes each bite better.
  • Romaine Lettuce (chopped) — the classic Caesar crunch.
  • Avocado (diced) — creamy richness in every bite.
  • Cherry Tomatoes (halved) — juicy pop of sweetness.
  • Parmesan Cheese — salty, nutty, totally essential.
  • Croutons (crushed slightly) — adds that irresistible crunch without tearing the tortilla.

Swaps & Flavor-Boosting Variations

Chicken Caesar salad wraps are easy to tweak depending on what you have and what sounds good.

  • Swap the protein: Shrimp, salmon, steak, crispy tofu, or leftover pork all work well.
  • Make it spicy: Pickled jalapeños, red pepper flakes, or a pinch of cayenne add heat.
  • Add extra crunch: Cucumber, shredded cabbage, or thin-sliced red onion fit naturally.
  • Add avocado: A little extra creaminess always works here.
  • Change the wrap or skip it: Use your favorite tortilla or turn everything into a chicken Caesar salad bowl.

Tips & Tricks

A few simple details keep chicken Caesar salad wraps crisp and easy to roll.

  • Warm the tortillas: A few seconds in the microwave helps prevent tearing.
  • Crush the croutons lightly: Enough crunch without poking holes in the wrap.
  • Use any cooked chicken: Rotisserie, grilled, or baked all work well.
  • Assemble just before eating: It keeps the lettuce crisp.
  • Slice gently: A serrated knife gives the cleanest cut.

Equipment

  • cutting board
  • chef's knife
  • mixing bowls
  • tongs

Ingredients

Caesar Salad Dressing

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon anchovy paste
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • kosher salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste

Wrap Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas or whatever type wrap you prefer
  • 1 cup cooked chicken
  • 4 pieces crispy bacon
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • parmesan cheese, to taste
  • croutons, to taste

Instructions

Caesar Salad Dressing

  • Mix all of the salad dressing ingredients together until thoroughly combined.

Chicken Caesar Salad Wraps

  • To a mixing bowl, toss the lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, chicken, bacon, together with the dressing.
  • Lay out your wrap/tortilla of choice on a flat surface. Spoon the salad mixture in the center of the wrap, leaving the edges untouched. You want to leave at least an inch clear all the way around - like a pizza.
  • Top with as much parmesan cheese and croutons are your heart desires.
  • Roll the wrap up like a burrito, top with extra dressing, and enjoy!

Storage & Make-Ahead

Here’s how to keep your Chicken Caesar Salad Wraps fresh, crisp, and lunch-ready.

  • Best fresh: Chicken Caesar salad wraps are best eaten soon after assembling so the lettuce stays crisp.
  • For meal prep: Store the chicken, lettuce, dressing, and toppings separately, then assemble when ready to eat.
  • Make ahead: The dressing keeps well in the fridge for up to 4–5 days.
  • Do not freeze: The texture does not hold up well once thawed a problem.

You Asked, I Answered

Can I make chicken Caesar salad wraps gluten-free or dairy-free?

Yes — use a gluten-free wrap and croutons for gluten-free, and skip the Parmesan or use a dairy-free Caesar dressing for dairy-free.

Do I have to use anchovies in Caesar dressing?

No. Anchovy paste adds that classic caesar salad savory depth that you cannot duplicate, but you can leave it out if you prefer.
