how to make ranch snack mix
To begin this Ranch Snack Mix recipe, you're gonna need a bowl - a very big one. Measure out the cereals, crackers, pretzels, and nuts. Toss those around just a bit.
Now, it's time to make the butter sauce. I use a big glass measuring cup so I cut down on dishes. No one has time for extra dishes. To the melted butter, add the Tajin, Worcestershire sauce, dried herbs, granulated garlic and onion. Whisk this all together and drizzle over the cereal mixture. Make sure you toss everything well so that the butter and the crunchy things are well coated.
Divide the snack mix onto two baking sheets, spreading it out evenly. This all goes into a preheated 250° oven. After 15 minutes, toss the snack mix. Continue the tossing situation every 15 minutes for an hour. After this, try to control yourself and let everything cool for just a minute.
Now, dive in and devour it all. Do not share. You will want it all for yourself. I kid. But, not really.

recipe frequently asked questions
Do you have any other snack mix recipes?
Why, yes. Yes, I do. Try savory snack mix for a more classic taste. It's equally as devour-able. I'm making this a word now. Carry on.
What other add-ins could I use?
You use whatever you love. As long as the amounts of crunchy things and the types are similar, you can swap out and use whatever you love. Use what ever nut you love as long as the size is relative to the size of the cashews and pistachios. For example, if you use a sunflower seed, those are smaller and might burn. Stick to something a bit bigger. See below for more specific ideas.
Can I make this recipe gluten-free?
You can! Rice and Corn Chex are both gluten-free. Omit the Wheat Chex. Substitute with your favorite GF pretzels and crunchy snack crackers.

This is my kids favorite. We made it during the holidays and haven’t quit eating it since. I add whatever cereal we have and change up the nuts, but it’s great!
